- what is the best 18v cordless drill out there?
i try to stay away from the cheap ones. for the electrician or equipment installer. i was looking at getting the Makita 18V BHP454, but am sometimes confused with the massive selection of 18v drills to choose from. anyone have experience with the Makita BDF452HW?
A I own a ryobi for almost 3 years and its works for me in many ways: first price, 2nd the battery its can be use for other tools such as reciprocating saw( my favorite) and circular saw ( least favorite) and other tools. the battery pack is cheaper than other brand. I also have a milwaukee and because i dint use so often the batteries died to fast and cost to much for replacing. In my job site i use dewalt ( overrated on price) is good but expensive, and a milwaukee and this one we use a lot so the battery is always charging, its expensive but its power-full also great on masonry its my favorite for tap-con screws. Sorry can help you on makita but we only use makita as corded drill.

Hello, I am looking to buy an 18v cordless drill for around the house, and would like to spend no more than $100 at home depot (I have a gift card, so i would need to purchase from there). I am totally clueless when it comes to drills. I need it for "around the house" but need it to work if I need it (i.e. I want something good quality). What would you suggest? Thanks, NNJZ
