- What is the difference between a 18v and 24v, Black and Decker Cordless drill/driver?
I got both for christmas, which one do i keep.
A Keep the 24 unless you find it too heavy to use easily. Batteries are lighter than they used to be, but if you have small hands you might find the 24 harder to handle. The 24 certainly will have more power but I've been using an 18 for a long time now, at work as well as at home, and it's been satisfactory.

I went shopping for Father's day early and bought my husband a DeWalt 18V Cordless Adjustable Clutch Driver/Drill, is it a good drill? He is a really great father and deserves something good. His last drill was a Craftsman and crapped out after a couple of years. PS. I couldn't find a "tools" category so I figured this one was close enough.
A absolutely, The dewalt will out perform the Craftsman hands down. I have been in the construction industry for yearand theres nothing better than the Dewalt line of cordless tools. I would have went for the 14.4 tho, unless you got a hammer drill model. the 14.4 is lighter and the batterys arnt so expensive to buy x-tras of.
