- What should I buy... the 4-piece Ryobi 18V cordless set or the Porter Cable?
Both are 18V and the same Price. Each come with bag, charger, 2 batteries, circular saw, flash light, drill, and reciprical saw. I will very seldom use these. I just need opinions of each brand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A I own both brands of these tools, both have met or surpassed my expectations. I feel the Porter-cable has the best circular saw, but the Ryobi has a more durable drill and better batteries.

Please pick a brand... I want to hear what people think about cordless drills and which brands they like better... I have a Makita and the I wasn't crazy about the power it provided, I had a Black and Decker and found i wasn't crazy about the operations of it, I have a new DeWalt and found that my battery dies really fast!. Remember the drill I am buying will be 18V no matter what brand it is... you can pick a drill from the list below or add in a brand that you like.. Black & Decker DeWalt Hitachi Makita Ryobi Porter Cable Skill ?? Please answer honestly and you may add reason in to why you chose the drill!! Any past experiences?
A I have had a 14v and an 18v DeWalt for years. Are you sure you didn't get a bad battery pack? I have 4 for the 18v and 1 seems to drop faster than the others. These have been used in my Handymaam business almost daily for the past 4 yrs. Black & Decker is DeWalt's cheaper version, Makita isn't what it used to be and Ryobi is also a lower end tool. Try the Porter Cable if you decide against DeWalt. I have a Porter Cable nail gun that is awesome.
